4DGG entered two teams into the 1st ANZCHAM Karting Competition which was held at Boomland Karting circuit on 3rd June 2011.

Both teams had 10 members, they arrived at the venue for an 8am registration followed by a safety meeting which was prior to the 1 hour practice session.At 10am came the actual race, this was a 1.5 hour Enduro Race, where the team with the most laps wins, a feat which wasn’t easy when two of the rival teams had experienced karting drivers included. 

There were plenty of crashes, bumps and lots of laughter however no one was hurt and everyone had some great fun, “We can’t wait for the next event, this was awesome” said Chesca de Jesus. 12:30pm came the award ceremony, 4DGG teams coming in 4th and 5th, “Better luck next time,  both teams did very well to say most people were novice drivers” said Francis Lim

We would like to thank AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (who came FIRST!!) for organizing this event and we look forward to the 2nd ANZCHAM Karting Competition.
